Refuting the Establishment: It Wasn’t Constitutional Conservatives that Gave Us Trump

The political establishment on the right is mostly ignorant of the constitutional provisions that enable political stands to be taken, or, they just don’t care. It’s a terrible irony that the Left has been able to own the bubble-gum wrapper version of what our constitutional rights are, and the so-called right sits there delusional about how to respond.

Huckabee swings and misses at Cruz on marriage

In 2008 and 2012, the Iowa caucuses were pushed to the first week of January, thanks to some extremely un-generous wrangling between the early primary states. Adapting to that, campaigns cut together homey Christmas-themed ads. You had to be on the air; you might as well be nice about it.

Dr. Ben Carson Asked a 'Gotcha' Question: Does the Bible Have Authority Over the Constitution?

"Does the Bible have authority over the Constitution?" That "gotcha" question was put to Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson on NBC's "Meet the Press" Sunday. The retired neurosurgeon, however, didn't fall for the bait. --NBC's Chuck Todd said it's a question from a Facebook poster by one Victor Roush, adding that it's a "simple question." "Does the Bible have authority over the constitution?" --"That is not a simple question by any stretch of the imagination," Carson, retired neurosurgeon retorted.
