Donald Trump may have thought he delivered the knock-out punch to Ted Cruz -- but the Texas senator apparently doesn't see himself down and counted out of the 2016 Republican presidential race. Not yet, anyway.

Ted Cruz: I’ve hardly ever met John Boehner, but I know why he calls me Lucifer
For holding so-called conservatives accountable to actually do what they say they're going to do It was attention-getting when John Boehner referred to Ted Cruz last week as “Lucifer in the flesh” (and surely that was the point), but it’s hardly breaking news that Cruz is unpopular among his colleagues in Washington.

The problem with Ted Cruz
Real estate mogul Donald Trump has run an outsider's juggernaut campaign, the likes of which nobody has seen in modern politics. Democrats publicly say they are thrilled to face him in the general election. But, privately, they fret that the master marketer and media maestro is so unpredictable and so original and so fearless that they just might regret getting the match-up they had hoped for.

After Trump's sweep, does Cruz-Kasich Hail Mary have a prayer?
The wins help Trump not only in terms of delegates, but also give the billionaire bragging rights and the ability to rhetorically sidelinehis rivals. On Tuesday he said about the primary race: “As far as I’m concerned it’s over.”

An Interview With a GOP Delegate About The Nomination Battle, And Marijuana For Medical Purposes
My local congressional district became one of those battlegrounds that we see playing out across the country, as Ted Cruz supporters outflank Donald Trump backers at the little-known, little-attended Republican Party meetings to select delegates to the national convention. Here's one delegate's story of how it all went down.

Ted Cruz 'birther' lawsuit appealed to Supreme Court
A Utah lawyer has appealed a lawsuit to the U.S. Supreme Court, alleging Republican presidential candidate Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is not a "natural born citizen" and therefore ineligible to become president. Legal scholars say there is virtually no chance the high court will consider the appeal, partly because they do not want to encourage a wave of similar suits.

Ink Ted Cruz to a Four-Year Contract
Ted Cruz dominates the delegate-selection process in Louisiana and Colorado. Trump then erupts in flustered indignation, sounding like Mom in the old joke: Mom: How was the game? Son: Great. I went 3 for 4 and stole second base. Mom: Well, you march yourself right back to school and put it back.

Ted Cruz sweeps Wyoming Republican Convention
It's a Ted Cruz sweep in Wyoming. Cruz won 14 of 14 Republican National Convention delegates up for grabs at the Wyoming state convention here Saturday. The crowd here was clearly in Cruz's corner, as the Texas senator was the only candidate to make the trip to Casper -- ahead of a major snowstorm -- and Sarah Palin, scheduled to speak for Trump, previously canceled.

9 Observations and Outcomes From the Wisconsin Waterloo
This race began with 17 candidates, but because of the unprecedented coverage of Donald Trump it really has been a one-man race for most of the election. There has been a false choice between whether people love Trump or hate him – just by virtue of the media coverage alone. Given the divided field and the lack of coverage, Ted Cruz lacked the ability to stand out and coalesce people behind a positive conservative, anti-establishment message.

Cruz snaring Trump's Arizona delegates
Sen. Ted Cruz is out-hustling Donald Trump and looks set to ensure many Arizona delegates will defect to him in a convention floor fight. The Texas senator, who ever since Iowa has played a stealthy ground game in contrast to Trump's chaotic populism, is taking steps to snatch the Republican presidential nomination from The Donald at the convention in July.

Cruz turns to GOP convention rule to keep Kasich from nabbing nomination
Sen. Ted Cruz is making the case that GOP presidential rival John Kasich and his pesky campaign cannot win the party nomination unless he has top showings in eight states -- an argument that could help Cruz in the upcoming Wisconsin primary and the GOP White House race.

My dinner with Ted Cruz
Does Senator Ted Cruz have a shot at replacing Barack Obama as leader of the free world in January 2017? I think so. All candidates love to create the impression that they will win. At a private dinner in Los Angeles Wednesday night, Cruz was no different. He knew just what to say to make the case that he’s on a winning track.

Ted Cruz makes pitch to women in Wisconsin
Ted Cruz on Wednesday pitched himself to women voters in Wisconsin, in the wake of a recent spat between Republican presidential rival Donald Trump over their wives and tabloid allegations. Trump is also facing criticism for standing by his campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, who on Tuesday was charged with simple battery of a female reporter. And Cruz has aggressively pushed back on a National Enquirer story alleging the Texas senator had multiple affairs with unnamed women.
