Madison — State Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley was elected to a 10-year term Tuesday, overcoming a challenge from Appeals Judge JoAnne Kloppenburg and keeping the job Gov. Scott Walker appointed her to in the fall. Her win preserves conservatives' 5-2 control of the court.

This race began with 17 candidates, but because of the unprecedented coverage of Donald Trump it really has been a one-man race for most of the election.  There has been a false choice between whether people love Trump or hate him – just by virtue of the media coverage alone.  Given the divided field and the lack of coverage, Ted Cruz lacked the ability to stand out and coalesce people behind a positive conservative, anti-establishment message.

Ted Cruz makes pitch to women in Wisconsin

Ted Cruz on Wednesday pitched himself to women voters in Wisconsin, in the wake of a recent spat between Republican presidential rival Donald Trump over their wives and tabloid allegations. Trump is also facing criticism for standing by his campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, who on Tuesday was charged with simple battery of a female reporter. And Cruz has aggressively pushed back on a National Enquirer story alleging the Texas senator had multiple affairs with unnamed women.

Wisconsin Supreme Court ends John Doe probe into Scott Walker's campaign

Madison— Dealing Gov. Scott Walker a victory just as his presidential campaign gets underway, the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Thursday the governor's campaign and conservative groups had not violated campaign finance laws in recall elections in 2011 and 2012. --The ruling means the likely end of the investigation, which has been stalled for 18 months after a lower court judge determined no laws were violated even if Walker's campaign and the groups had worked together as prosecutors believe.

Bernie Sanders Draws Crowd of 10,000 in Wisconsin

"In case you haven't noticed, there are a lot of people here," Bernie Sanders said a bit awed as he took the stage in front of nearly 10,000 in a coliseum here. Sanders has been attracting outsize crowds wherever he takes his unlikely presidential campaign. Five thousand came out for his kickoff rally in his hometown of Burlington, Vermont. Another 5,000 turned out in Denver, Colorado. In Minneapolis, a thousand listened from outside after the basketball arena where Sanders was speaking filled to capacity.
