Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is the current Republican front-runner as the state's Feb. 1 presidential caucus approaches. Earlier this month, Sen. Terrific Night for Cruz

Ted Cruz went a long way Wednesday night in making the case for himself as the conservative consensus candidate. It didn't hurt that he used his first extended answer in the debate to excoriate the journalists asking the questions. --The righteous rant got one of the loudest rounds of applause of the night from the crowd at the University of Colorado. It was a smart move for Cruz to take time to go after the media since the CNBC moderators were, indeed, asking questions right out of the Hillary Clinton opposition book.

Cruz: America Only 1 Liberal Justice Away From Gun Confiscation

The amount of power that the Supreme Court was wielded during the Obama years has been disconcerting to say the least. --Not many presidential candidates are focusing on the fact that the Supreme Court has taken a noticeable turn to the left and is slowly being filled with judges that hold some very radical views along with a general disdain for the rule of law. --Senator Ted Cruz is well aware of this shift and has been hammering the message home on the campaign trail.

How Cruz Won the NH Conservative Caucus Vote

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was the undisputed winner of the first ever caucus of New Hampshire conservatives to rally behind a candidate in advance of the state's first-in-the-nation presidential primary in February. The 603 Alliance, a grassroots organization of New Hampshire conservatives, has endorsed Cruz.  Earlier this year the alliance began organizing the caucus as a means to prevent the conservative vote from getting split among so many candidates and thus handing the primary to an establishment candidate like Jeb Bush.

Ted Cruz is wooing voters who favored rival Rand Paul's father, and it's working

Paul is a low single-digit blip in the polls. He barely meets the threshold to participate in the next debate later this month. Influential conservatives are urging him to bail out.

Will Voters Buy Donald Trump’s New Attack on Marco Rubio’s Voting Record?

Among the many turbulent moments that Donald Trump contributed to the much-vaunted Republican-primary debate on September 16, one in particular stood out. “I,” Trump griped after Marco Rubio delivered a particularly withering put-down, “am not sitting in the United States Senate with, by the way, the worst voting record there is today . . . I’m a businessman. I am doing business transactions.” --At the time, Trump intended this line as a panicked explanation for his ignorance of foreign affairs. But, in the weeks that have followed, he has begun to use it as a cudgel.
