A Utah lawyer has appealed a lawsuit to the U.S. Supreme Court, alleging Republican presidential candidate Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is not a "natural born citizen" and therefore ineligible to become president. Legal scholars say there is virtually no chance the high court will consider the appeal, partly because they do not want to encourage a wave of similar suits.

Jeb: It’s “not important to me” whether there’s a vote on Obama’s SCOTUS nominee
We began discussing this last night when the tragic news broke about the death of Justice Scalia, and as predicted the question has caught fire already. The President already said he will be nominating someone, but will the Senate take up the question while he is still in office? We have the answer from several presidential candidates already and one of them is Jeb Bush. It's really not that important to him.

Hispanic voter clout imperiled by Texas case before U.S. top court
The growing influence of Hispanic voters in the United States could be blunted by a case coming before the U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday in which two voters backed by a conservative group are challenging the way Texas draws electoral districts.

Cruz: America Only 1 Liberal Justice Away From Gun Confiscation
The amount of power that the Supreme Court was wielded during the Obama years has been disconcerting to say the least. --Not many presidential candidates are focusing on the fact that the Supreme Court has taken a noticeable turn to the left and is slowly being filled with judges that hold some very radical views along with a general disdain for the rule of law. --Senator Ted Cruz is well aware of this shift and has been hammering the message home on the campaign trail.

Trump says it’s time to move on from gay ‘marriage’ battle: ‘The Supreme Court ruled.’
The GOP's leading presidential candidate said that he has been to a gay "wedding" and that conservatives should accept the Supreme Court's redefinition of marriage. --In a wide-ranging interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Donald Trump was asked whether the issue of marriage's redefinition is "a dead issue for the GOP at this point."
