Spiteful Virginia GOPe Target Dave Brat for Retaliation…

Almost everyone is familiar with the most devastating loss for the Professional Political Establishment in the 2014 election cycle, the primary defeat of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor by insurgent patriot Dave Brat. --Fewer people recognize how devastating the loss was for the globalist DC elites who were less than two days away from approving the Gang-of-Eight Amnesty Bill known as “Comprehensive Immigration Reform”.

Republican Dr. Greg Brannon To Primary Burr In NC

Citing, among other things, Burr's Washingtonian impulses to raise the debt ceiling nine times, to call Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)'s stand against Obama Care a dumb idea, to fund President Obama's executive amnesty - Brannon made it clear that his opponent "is a Washington insider who is backed by special interest SuperPACs and Karl Rove."

Walker Tells Private Group He'll Skip Florida Primary

Scott Walker has insisted he will be able to “compete anywhere in the country” as a candidate for president — but, at a private event in St. Louis on Sunday, Walker said he does not plan to compete in Florida, contradicting his own public assertions that he would not skip that primary. During a fundraiser at the St. Louis home of Rex Sinquefield, Missouri’s most active Republican donor, Walker reasoned that it “doesn't make a ton of sense for him to pour cash into Florida” with Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio in the race, said one person who was present for Walker’s remarks. Bush is a former Florida governor, and Rubio is a senator from Florida.

2014 GOP Candidate Picture Wall with Links to Campaign Websites - Benton/Oregon Primary Election

Our 2014 Candidate Wall includes photos of Republicans who are running in the Oregon Primary Election in districts encompassing all or parts of Benton County. Click photos to visit campaign websites (if available) and learn about these candidates.

STATEWIDE NONPARTISAN POSITION

Note: (I) = Incumbent. Mr. Avakian is a Democrat.

THE CONGRESSIONAL RACES BELOW ARE OUTSIDE BENTON COUNTY'S DISTRICTS (CD4 & CD5), however, the CD2 race between Congressman Greg Walden (Incumbent) and Dennis Linthicum should be interesting to watch and, though James Buchal is running unopposed in the CD3 Primary, he will be running against Congressman Earl Blumenauer (D) in the General Election. Buchal is a long-shot but Blumenauer has been in D.C. far too long!

No information on Judges yet!
Feb. 1, 2014 - Jon Justesen dropped out of the Governor's race.
Mar. 3, 2014 - Brian Cooke filed to run for the Oregon House of Representatives for District 16 but had to drop out when he was informed that he was subject to the Hatch Act of 1938 because his job with Benton County is funded through federal funds. We thank Brian for stepping up to run. It was such a pleasure to meet Brian and his family. He can run for a party office so he has signed up to run for a Precinct Committeeman slot. Read More......
